Coach Meyer comes to the Trojan staff from the state of Michigan, where he coached offensive and defensive line at the high school level. Coach Meyer will be coaching "The Trenches" for MDCC Trojans and is thrilled to break into the college coaching ranks, in the nation's toughest JUCO league.

"I am excited to be able to be part of the Trojan football family! Coaching college football has been a goal of mine since I hung up the cleats, I am grateful to MDCC and Coach Johnson for taking a chance on a young coach to help build MDCC Football back to its rightful spot as the best JUCO football program in the nation. Although I was not fortunate enough to play college football, I am confident in my ability to lead the best position in football, the Offensive Line."

Coach Meyer not only has on-field experience in athletics but off the field as well. While at Western Michigan he worked on Coach Lester's staff as a student equipment manager, where he worked closely with Defensive Coordinator and Defensive line coach Lou Esposito. Coach Meyer also worked in stadium and player operations (202-21) for the Kalamazoo Growlers, where he managed stadium and concession operations, events and clubhouse operations.
