2019-2020 MEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE

The Mississippi Delta Community College men's basketball team opens the lid on the 2019-2020 season on Monday, Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. as the team travels to Utica to take on Hinds Community College.

The Trojans of Mississippi Delta have quiet optimism this season, due in large part to two key returners, as well as an excellent signing class that consists of highly-recruited freshmen and key transfers. MDCC is coming off a 2018-2019 season that featured an appearance in the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) state tournament.

Darrius Jackson (Plaquemine, La.) is the Trojans leading returnee in four different categories, including minutes per game (29.1), points per game (14.3), assists per game (1.6) and steals per game (1.2), as well as averaging 3.4 rebounds per game in 2018-2019.

Latrell Carter (Memphis, Tenn.) was also a very solid contributor in his rookie season, averaging 19.8 minutes per game, 6.1 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game.

MDCC plays at home for the first time on Monday, Nov. 11, welcoming Copiah-Lincoln Community College to Moorhead for an 8 p.m. start.

The Trojans open North division play on Monday, Dec. 9, when East Mississippi Community College comes to town for an 8 p.m. tipoff.

All home games will be played at J.T. Hall Coliseum on the Moorhead Campus of Mississippi Delta Community College.
