Men's hoops puts a bow on 2019-2020 on Thursday

The 2019-2020 campaign for the Mississippi Delta men's basketball team will come to a finish on Thursday evening in Moorhead, when the Trojans welcome Coahoma Community College to J.T. Hall Coliseum for an 8 p.m. tipoff.

Delta headed to Northeast Community College in Booneville on Monday evening in search of a win, but were unable to do so, coming away with a 77-69 loss at the hands of the nationally-ranked Tigers. MDCC currently sits at 9-13 overall and 2-9 in Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) play, with numerous losses being of the narrow variety.

Darius Jackson (Plaquemine, La.) has been an offensive force in 2019-2020, averaging 18.9 points per game, including 17.6 points per game in MACJC play. He has also averaged 4.7 rebounds per game, 2.1 assists per game and 1.2 steals per game.

Terry Wallace (Aberdeen) is second on the team in scoring at 8.9 points per game, along with averaging 3.1 rebounds per game.
