Diamond Trojans bring in 2021 class

Diamond Trojans bring in 2021 class

The Mississippi Delta Community College baseball program will welcome 15 newcomers to the Moorhead campus for the 2020 fall semester, as announced on Tuesday.

The class was started by Dan Rives, former head baseball coach and incoming athletic director at MDCC, and was completed by new head coach Luke Stanley. It was during Stanley's time as the Trojans recruiting coordinator that the class was initiated, and one that he feels very good about.

"This class offers us a good mix of versatility and athleticism, as many of them play multiple positions on the field and can be impactful dual position players for us" said Stanley. "This is a group that has great character and we can't wait to get them on campus."
