Jim Randall Stadium will be the site of the final home game of the 2019 season on Saturday when the Mississippi Delta Community College football team hosts Holmes Community College at 2:30 p.m.

MDCC traveled to Itawamba Community College in week seven and fell 41-7 to the Indians to fall to 2-5 overall and 2-3 in the North division. The Bulldogs of Holmes currently sit at 3-4 overall and 3-1 in the always tough North division.

Lebarron Jones (Mobile, Ala.) has been a consistent standout for the Trojans offense in 2019, as the sophomore wide receiver heads into the eighth week of the season second in the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) in total receptions (47), receptions per game (6.7), yards (630) and yards per game (90), to go along with four receiving touchdowns.

Isaiah Karriem (Columbus) has been a steady performer as well for the Trojans, with his play coming on the defensive side. The sophomore linebacker has 37 tackles, one sack and has broken up a pass in the season's first seven weeks.

The Holmes offense will be led by quarterback Kyren Batey and running back Terry Bryant, which both rank in the top-15 in the conference in rushing. Batey is ninth in the state with 484 yards on 76 carries to go along with three touchdowns, while Bryant is 15th in the MACJC with 344 yards on 95 carries and is tied for second in the league with seven rushing touchdowns.

Sophomore linebacker Tyler McDaniel leads the Holmes defense, as he enters week eight with 50 tackles, two sacks, two pass breakups and has forced a fumble.
