It's been a tough year for the young and inexperienced Lady Trojans of Mississippi Delta Community College. But the recruiting trail has yielded quite a few hits for Head Coach Olivia Burns. The Lady Trojans have signed:

Adriyana Ruffin from Southwest Lauderdale High School, Sara Frances Ramsey from Oak Hill Academy, Cadence Griffith from Georgetown High School, Keleigh Jo Stigall from Sharkey Issaquena Academy and Lola Crozier from Warren Central High School. Coach Burns has her eye on signing more players as well.

In looking at the current season, Coach Burns and assistant Coach Tori Pettit are seeing improvement even though the lone win on the scoreboard might not tell the whole picture.

"Some positives are the girls are working hard to get better every day," Coach Burns said. "It's been a rough year but they are still pushing through it to make each day better. We are excited about our recruits coming in and can't wait to get them here in the fall."
