The Mississippi Delta Community College women's basketball team will put a wrap on the 2019-2020 campaign on Thursday evening when the Lady Trojans take on heated rival Coahoma Community College at 6 p.m. in the season finale at J.T. Hall Coliseum in Moorhead.

MDCC is coming off a tough 67-57 loss at Northeast Community College in Booneville on Monday evening to drop to 5-17 overall and 1-10 in Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) play in head coach Tangela Banks' rookie campaign. Five of the losses since January 23 have been by eight points or less, so the Lady Trojans have fought tooth-and-nail all season.

Delta has been led all season by Antanisha Wade (Cleveland), a freshman forward, who leads the team in scoring with an 11.4 points per game average, including 13.4 points per game in MACJC play. She is currently first on the team in rebounding as well, averaging 6.7 rebounds per game in conference play.

Jacambriyona Cheatham (Macon) is second on the team in scoring, averaging 6.4 points per game heading into Thursday's finale.
