Ja'Bryis Stewart Signs with Mississippi State
Trojan Bulldog - MACCC Well Represented on Early National Signing Day
By Mark H. Stowers
Mississippi JUCO football has long been described as the SEC of the JUCO world. That statement rang true on early D1 football signings as Mississippi Delta Community College's Ja'Bryis Stewart signed his name on scholarship papers to continue his gridiron career in Starkville as a Mississippi State University Bulldog.
The 6-foot, 3-inch, 200-pound sophomore hybrid defensive player had 53 tackles, one sack, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries over nine games this past season.
The linebacker/defensive back joins seven other JUCO signees with the Bulldogs (six from the MACCC) to help rebuild Head Coach Jeff Lebby's program.
