Vernell Price Jr.
Defensive Line Coach – Mississippi Delta CC
Coach Vernell Price Jr. enters his first season at Mississippi Delta CC in 2025 as Defensive Line Coach. He brings experience from Louisiana Christian University, San Diego, Valparaiso, and Lincoln (MO). At Valpo in 2022, he helped lead a defense ranked top five nationally in red-zone and fourth-down defense.
A former standout defensive lineman at South Dakota and San Diego Mesa College. Coach Price uses his playing background to develop disciplined, high-performing defensive fronts. A San Diego native, he is known for his player-first approach and technical expertise.
