GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 12-3 on the season with an 85-56 win over the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans here Thursday.
Holmes will return to action on Thursday at Itawamba in the MACCC opener.
Holmes led 44-30 at halftime and then outscored the Trojans, 41-26, in the second half.
Jamar Jenkins led the Bulldogs with 18 points while Jalen Tatum had 15, Hobert Grayson and Cameron Wallace each had 13 and Dacory Porter had 12. Tatum and Wallace each had eight rebounds.
