GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up a MACCC victory here Monday night over the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans, 79-68.
With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 11-6 overall and 3-4 in the MACCC. Holmes travels to Northeast on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Holmes led 38-25 at halftime. Delta outscored Holmes, 43-41 in the second half, but it wasn't enough as the Bulldogs took the game.
Jalen Tatum led the Bulldogs with 22 points followed by Raymond Adams with 18 and Dacory Porter with 14. Tatum finished with 12 rebounds.
Holmes shot 45.9 percent from the floor (28-of-61).
