Sarah Hardy Named MDCC Head Coach for Cheer and Dance Teams

Sarah Hardy has been named the Mississippi Delta Community College Head Coach for both Cheer and Dance teams. Hardy came to Moorhead from Delta State University where she served as the Graduate Assistant for the Statesmen Cheer Program for two seasons. Her cheer experience during 2020 and 2021 at DSU where she earned the Green and White Leadership Award.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's in Social Justice and Criminology, the Bentonia native currently lives in Cleveland.
Prior to Delta State, she attended Holmes Community College earning a Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College (MACJC) Scholar Athlete all four semesters. She received the Freshman Award, Sophomore Award, Fitness Award and several other academic accolades while at Holmes.
Her high school career at Benton Academy included being a four-sport athlete and received several athletic and academic awards including Hall of Fame and the Lady Raider Award in 2018.
