Bio

Sarah Hardy will enter the 2024-2025 season as the head coach of the Mississippi Delta
Community College cheer and dance programs.

She came to Moorhead from nearby Delta State University, where she served as the graduate
assistant for the cheer program for two seasons. Her stint as a GA came after cheering for the
2020 and 2021 season where she earned the Green and White Leadership Award. It was there
she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Justice and
Criminology.

Hardy, a native of Bentonia, had a highly decorated career at Holmes Community College before
coming to Delta State where she earned, Mississippi Association of Community and Junior
Colleges (MACJC) scholar-athlete all four semesters. While at Holmes, she received the
Freshman Award, Sophomore Award, Fitness Award, and several other academic accolades.
She prepped at Benton Academy in Benton, MS. At Benton, she was a four-sport athlete
receiving several athletic and academic awards such as the Hall of Fame and Lady Raider Award in
2018.

Hardy resides in Cleveland, Mississippi.
