TROJANS UPSET HOLMES

The Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans kept the Holmes Community College Bulldogs losing streak intact with an 82-20 win at Holmes. 

Javeon Smith hit the game-winner with only six seconds left. Holmes had two chances to score but the Trojans denied them on each attempt.

The Trojans evened their record to 11-11 overall and 4-5 in the MACCC. Holmes falls to 5-3 in the MACCC and 17-4 overall. 

MDCC moves up to seventh place in the MACCC and will host #2 in the MACCC, Jones Community College (21-3, 7-1 in the MACCC and nationally ranked at #5 in the NJCAA), on Thursday night, 2/13, at J.T. Hall Coliseum.
