M-Trade Round Robin; Monday called off

MOORHEAD – The Mississippi Delta Community College softball program was scheduled to be the host school for the M-Trade Round Robin Tournament in Oxford on Friday and Saturday, but with below freezing temperatures and icy conditions in the forecast, the tournament has been called off.

MDCC was set to host a number of teams from the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC), as well as neighboring states in the two-day event.

The tournament will not be rescheduled, but the Trojans will look to fill in the open dates in the very near future.

Delta was set to return to action on Monday, Feb. 15 at home versus Southwest Mississippi Community College, but the double dip has been canceled as well due to icy weather predicted for the Delta region.
