Lady Trojan Head Basketball Coach was named as MDCC Interim Athletic Director, filling the role of former AD/SID David Kuhn, who resigned to take on softball coaching duties in Arkansas to be closer to his family. 

"It has been a mix of excitement and nervousness. Taking on an athletic director role often comes with a lot of responsibility, including overseeing programs, supporting student-athletes, and enhancing the overall athletic experience. There’s also the challenge of meeting the expectations of coaches, athletes, and the community. It's a significant opportunity for me to have a positive impact of athletics here at MDCC. It has its challenges and rewards. Balancing administrative duties, supporting teams, and engaging with the community can be quite demanding. However, seeing the growth of student-athletes and the success of athletic programs can be incredibly fulfilling. There’s always something new to learn and adapt to in such a dynamic role," Coach Banks said.
