The Trojans will cap off homecoming week when they host Holmes Community College on Thursday, October 19 at 3:00 p.m. Coach Johnson knows it will be another tough week in the SEC of the JUCO world.
"They throw the ball all over the field – a true Air Raid Team. And they'll mix in the run but they want to throw the football," Coach Johnson said. "At one point, they had one receiver leading the nation in reception and yardage."
But as always, Coach Johnson is doing his due diligence with scouting the opposition but focusing on his team's plusses and minuses.
"It's not about Holmes, it's about us and we have to show up. We'll use this time to prepare and put our best product on the field on Thursday and represent for homecoming," Coach Johnson said.
He noted the team has some nagging injuries but that's the norm this time of the season for all teams. Holmes is 4-2 overall and 1-2 in the MACCC.
