Terrell Haygood Named MDCC Lady Trojan Basketball Assistant

Terrell Haygood has been named as Assistant Coach for the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojan basketball team. Haygood, a Greenville native, attended Deer Creek School in Arcola, graduating in 2017. With a Bachelor of Science Degree in HPER from Delta State University - and a minor in Allied Health - in 2020, he began coaching and teaching at Deer Creek in 2023 school year. 

Haygood was an Assistant Football Coach for both JV and Varsity, Head Basketball Coach for Boy's Basketball, Head Boy's Track Coach and Assistant Girl's track coach. 

Awarded Coach of the Year for JV Basketball, he was also Runner Up in JV Track. 

Outside of coaching, Haygood is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and also a volunteer for the Greenville High School Solid Gold Band.
